Welcome Home

We’re proud to introduce the Welcome Home podcast, created in partnership with The American Legion. This new series, hosted by our own Jennifer Ballou, shares the powerful voices of those whose lives have been shaped by the Global War on Terrorism.

Through personal stories of service, sacrifice, resilience, and remembrance, Welcome Home brings us closer to the people behind the mission and the Memorial that will one day stand in their honor.

Grounded in our mission to honor, heal, empower, and unite, this podcast preserves the legacy of all who served: those who made the ultimate sacrifice, those who wore the uniform, the non-uniformed personnel who stood beside them, and the families who carried them through.

The Global War on Terrorism Memorial will be a permanent place of national reflection—our Nation’s way of saying: Welcome Home. This podcast is where that welcome begins.
