WASHINGTON – — Seventeen years later, the war on terror rages on.
For former Special Forces Green Beret Michael Rodríguez, who is known to his friends as “Rod,” it’s a family affair.
“I served. My wife served and we just welcomed our son home from Afghanistan earlier this year.” said Rodríguez. “He’s my oldest of the three boys and all he knows is a post 9/11 war.”
