Nahsir Knight-Bell is proud to serve as the Gold Star Child Fellow for the Global War on Terrorism Memorial Foundation, where he honors the legacy of fallen heroes and advocates for the families they leave behind. A native of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Nahsir is a 2025 graduate of Methodist University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Management, following his Associate’s degree from Fayetteville Technical Community College in 2023.
Nahsir is a Gold Star Child, a title he carries with deep pride in memory of his father, 1st Sgt. Russell R. Bell, who was Killed in Action in August 2012. In 2023, he experienced another profound loss with the unexpected passing of his mother. Since then, he has embraced the responsibility of raising his younger brother demonstrating maturity, resilience, and a deep commitment to family.
Driven by a passion for service and personal growth, Nahsir will begin his MBA at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in Spring 2026. He remains steadfast in building a future that honors his family’s sacrifices and serves as a foundation of inspiration and leadership for his siblings and community. Nahsir enjoys basketball, reading and singing in the men’s choir at his church.
