Farahn is an independent communications and public relations advisor. Before joining the GWOTMF team, Farahn led public relations campaigns for clients across industries, organizations, and disciplines at Washington’s leading boutique book agency and public relations firm, Javelin DC. Prior to joining Javelin, Farahn served as strategic communications advisor in the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs and, previously, as Communications Director for U.S. Representatives Rob Wittman (VA-1) and Jack Bergman (MI-1). She has secured coverage for clients in national outlets including the TODAY Show, CBS This Morning, FOX & Friends, Morning Joe, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, New York Post, Washington Post, Fast Co., Axios, and Politico, among others.
A double Demon Deacon, Farahn holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in philosophy from Wake Forest University and a J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law. She is a proud native of middle Appalachia and an avid hiker.
