The Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) Memorial Foundation is excited to share that Wyatt Smith has joined the team as the Foundation’s Vice President of Development.
As our VP of Development, Wyatt will lead all fundraising efforts to build a Memorial on the National Mall honoring all of our GWOT heroes. Wyatt has more than twenty years of development and fundraising experience in the political and non-profit world, as well as the private sector. From his early career in politics, to his post at the George W. Bush Foundation and work with non-profits supporting military families, Wyatt has implemented and led fundraising efforts that have raised a total of more than $1B.
This is an exciting time for the Foundation as we work towards our initial fundraising goal of $100 million, which will be raised entirely through private donations.
